The motivation to create the Stroke Survivors Foundation (SSF) was incubated from the real life experiences of Charlene Murray and George Scola who had strokes in their 30’s

My younger sister Sanelisiwe Sibisi, whom is also a stroke survivor, introduced me to The Stroke Survivors Foundation (SSF) in 2018.

As a stroke survivor, I was very keen and passionate to get involved in stroke for the means of education and stroke awareness.

I got to know about the stroke survivor foundation when I was in hospital in 2014  admitted for stroke.

I joined SSF in 2016, I wanted to be a part of an organisation of people who understands what I have been through and can relate to my struggles as a stroke survivor.
